When leaders from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan and Italy visited Charlevoix, Quebec last month for The Group of Seven (G7) Summit, SkyRanger 60s provided real-time aerial intelligence to teams on the ground.
As with any high-profile event like the G7 Summit, the gathering of leaders from around the world creates security challenges for the host city.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) utilized Aeryon’s SkyRanger R60 as the UAV security detail for the Summit. SkyRanger’s all-weather operations and day and nighttime imaging capabilities enabled the RCMP to maintain sustained aerial intelligence throughout the event.
“Aeryon continues to make significant investments in our UAS capabilities to meet the unique requirements of our public safety customers,” said Dave Kroetsch, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Aeryon. “We are proud to have partnered with the RCMP to help ensure a safe and secure G7 Summit.”
