Airport Map Edition 350x140Aeryon small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS), Aeryon Scout™ and Aeryon SkyRanger™, provide an integrated end-to-end surveying and GIS (Geographical Information System) solution. The immediate and reliable collection of high quality aerial imagery and a variety of image processing options give everyday users and GIS specialists the ability gather aerial imagery faster, more accurately and more cost-effectively than satellites, manned aircraft or ground-based measurements. The data and imagery collected enables users to create high resolution 2D orthomosaics and maps, 3D and digital surface models (DSM), and other GIS datasets.

Ideal for military, public safety and commercial applications, Aeryon sUAS combine class-leading flight capabilities with an easy-to-use interface and automated fail safes – no pilot experience required.

As a Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aerial vehicle, Aeryon sUAS can operate lower and slower than manned aircraft, and fly in confined environments where fixed-wing UAVs cannot operate safely. The result of this capability is incredibly detailed imagery, up to 1cm/px resolution, required for precise modeling and measurement.

The AutoGrid™ mapping mode creates an automated grid waypoint flight path based on survey parameters. Unlike other sUAS platforms, the grid can be flown automatically, but it can also be paused and resumed, edited and aborted - dynamically during flight. The automated fail safes also provide the ability to easily change the landing location at any time, should the operating environment or other factors cause the flight plan to change.

The Aeryon Map Edition, a bundled option for both the Aeryon Scout and Aeryon SkyRanger, is designed for any application that requires survey-grade accuracy orthomosaics, DSMs and point clouds from aerial or oblique imagery - and seamless integration with GIS, CAD, and traditional photogrammetry software.

The Aeryon Map Edition includes:

    • Aeryon Scout or Aeryon SkyRanger sUAS
    • Integrated imaging payload for image capture (according to sUAS model)
    • Pix4Dmapper software to enable field and office image processing, including integrated tools for 3D output visualization and editing

Pix4Dmapper aerial image processing software produces geo-referenced orthmosaics, DSMs and point clouds with survey-grade accuracy.
