Sophisticated High End UAV Technology

To meet the demands of any mission, aerial intelligence must be high quality and it must be timely.  In other words, your aerial intelligence system needs all the capabilities required to get the job done.  With the Aeryon Scout, not only is it extremely easy to fly, but it has the capabilities expected of high end unmanned aerial vehicles so, at the end of the day, your mission will be a success.  Real time streaming of digital video to any device, flying beyond line of site, an end to end secure system, the ability to fly pre-planned flight paths and with multiple UAV’s – the Aeryon Scout provides the flexibility and functionality traditionally reserved for only the elite, high end UAV’s.

ipodReal Time Digital Video to any Device

Digital video from the flyer is streamed in real time to the Aeryon Scout’s command center.  Video can also be streamed to any other device – including iPhones, Blackberries or laptops – granted access to your IP network, allowing for everyone to be up to date with the latest aerial intelligence.

Need to secure the perimeter of a safety zone – the Aeryon Scout can autonomously fly a pre-planned flight path, completely freeing the operator to focus on the real mission of gaining high quality aerial intelligence.  In the event you want to further investigate something off the pre-planned flight path, switch to ad-hoc flying by simply clicking on the map.  Creating pre-planned flight paths can be done in seconds as it is all controlled by the Scout`s touch-screen interface.

With Aeryon`s advanced command center, multiple flyers can be controlled by one pilot.  This allows for constant aerial surveillance – continually streaming real-time video 100% of the time – all controlled by one operator and one command station.

World’s Lightest 2-axis Digital Gimballed Camera

Custom designed by Aeryon Labs, the Scout payload is the world’s lightest 2-axis stabilized digital camera, capable of both video and high-speed still photos.  The 2-axis gimbal provides full range of motion so the camera can look completely to the side to peer into windows or directly to down to the ground.  Targeting the camera itself is accomplished simply by touching the screen on the command center – stabilization and countering wind effects are controlled by the system itself.  All high-speed stills are geo-tagged with the location details of the photo.

The Quick-Connect payload interface allows for payloads to be hot-swapped in the field within seconds.  Payloads available include high-resolution digital video, near-IR and thermal imagery.  With the system flexibility and openness, rapid development of customized payloads can also be done for multiple operations, such as CBRNE, environmental sensing and audio surveillance.

secureAll Digital.  All Secure.

The Aeryon Scout system is connected over an ad-hoc digital network.  This network can connect multiple vehicles and controllers together and transmits control, video and photos.

Unlike analog links, which are easily jammed and snooped, Aeryon`s digital network is encrypted to ensure both security of operations and data.  In addition, mission parameters and data collected and stored onboard can also be encrypted in the event that the vehicle is compromised.

battery_smallSmart Batteries and Charger

LEDs indicators on each battery show the charge level of each battery, making it easy to find a fully charged battery quickly.  When a battery is connected to a system, the user is informed of the number of minutes of flight time available and the system uses this information to intelligently respond to low battery levels.  The 3-bay charger allows continual system operation

Perch-and-stare Capable

As a VTOL system, the Aeryon Scout can land almost anywhere.  A system can be landed and continue to collect and relay data for up to 8 hours as a digital sentry or listening post.

Interoperable

The Aeryon Scout network consists of dual radio links to increase reliability and provides the ability to integrate the system with other IP-based network platforms.  With a NATO standard STANAG 4586 compliant interface available, the Scout can be used with existing ground control stations.   Use the WiFi interface to connect to existing networks for data transfer.  No need to hook up wires or remove small flash cards to download.  Data can even be downloaded during a flight.
